Biography
Ashley-Simone McKenzie is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Queens, New York.
An artist of many styles, she brings an instinctual, freehand approach to an ever-changing series of afro-surreal portraits, tribal designs, and cartoons. Utilizing intricate linework, geometric patterns, and psychedelic imagery to define her work.
She is known for her on-going quest to explore mediums, and expand her technical abilities in traditional and digital realms. To date, her art practice has grown to include works of animations, carpentry, illustrations, and paintings.
